RELAB attend GLEON 21 All Hands Meeting 2019

The Project Coordinator of RELAB attended the 21st All Hands Meeting of the Global Lake Ecological Observatory Network (GLEON) held in Huntsville, Ontario in the Muskoka region of Canada from November 3 to 8, 2019. GLEON 21 provided the opportunity for sharing of knowledge and experiences with lake scientists and researchers across the world. RELAB is presently collaborating with other GLEONites on the new Lake Basin Management Framework. GLEON also helped engage scientists and students working on climate change and lake productivity projects across Africa. An African Lake Ecology Network was proposed and is currently being discussed as a continent-wide platform for collaboration of African lake scientists. RELAB is playing a central role in the formation and operationalization of the network.
